i Japanese School now offers a distance learning scheme using e-mail as the method of communication. This scheme is designed to cater for students who can contact the school by e-mail@regularly. It may also be of interest to students who, having studied at the school, wish to continue their studies on leaving Japan. This course is suitable for students who have already reached the Intermediate Level of their studies in Japanese language and who wish to take Level 2 or Level 1 of the Japanese Proficiency Test. For those who are uncertain of their current level, we can provide a check of your level and advise you of which examination you should aim for, together with advice on the amount of studying required. We are also in the process of setting up courses for Beginner Level and Elementary Level students.
In general terms, a programme will be drawn up with each student. Vocabulary lists and tests, grammar explanations with practical exercises and reading exercises are sent to each student on a weekly basis. Students will return their answers and completed exercises to the school for checking and feedback. In addition, there will be a facility for students to ask any questions or seek any advice on their studies. Each weekly lesson sent out by e-mail will be the equivalent of a two-hour lesson in the classroom.
25,500 yen (for 12 times of sending the materials and checking your practical exercises.)
There is a registration fee of 3,000 yen payable on commencement of the course.
will be provided on request in order to assist you in deciding whether to study by this method. Please contact the school to arrange a trial lesson.
